- We are located in the medical district of UAB and have 5 major hospitals within a 1/2 mile. Downtown Birmingham is also the financial district for the state of Alabama, so we have a good mix of corporate and hospital visitors throughout the week. We have sports from UAB on the weekends and mostly singles and couples as the top 5 restaurants in the city are all within a block from our hotel. This area is not so much a family location as it is located practically on a college campus.

- We are located at Five Points South and have multiple local restaurants (mostly upscale) and local bars, all within a block of the hotel. There is no retail located in Five Points but the Summit Shopping Center is located just 6.83 miles from the hotel.
